Federico De Lellis is a computer scientist and experimenter in the musical field who applies technology to sound by combining the worlds of traditional instruments with electroacoustic music under the artist name Yalu.
He now designs with the brand of specialist modular synthesizers Morph his own range of hardware and software instruments which are used by creators in studios, on stages around the world.
He founded Morph, an eurorack modular company based in Italy, for which designs, develops and assembles modules and instruments in order to support other musicians and his own way of creating music.
Complementing his collaborative work, Federico has produced and performed both on stage and in studio. Performing under the name Yalu he bridges the gap between traditional instrumentation and experimental sound design using synthesis, DSP and electronics.

Morph is a music technology brand specialised in modular synthesizers cases and instruments led by Federico De Lellis as hardware designer, software developer and musician. The workshop is based in Cori, Italy.
Every product is treated solely as a piece of art, individually assembled and rigorously tested before reaching musicians, ensuring it upholds high standards of performance and durability. Because each product serves a unique function, its availability is thoughtfully considered during the design phase to meet ongoing demand.
Cardiopoetica is a fusion of diverse sonic experiences and poetic performance, created by the collective of Marco De Cave, Fabio Appetito, and Mariano Macale, in collaboration with Federico De Lellis.
More than just a performance, Cardiopoetica is a true laboratory of experimentation. Every event is a living artwork, designed to adapt to the spaces and people it encounters. The collective creates immersive experiences that range from poetry readings to sound events and multimedia installations.
